About Vantre
Vantre builds on-device privacy tools powered by open-source metadata removal engines. We believe privacy should be the default, not the exception.
Our Mission
Every photo you take and every document you create contains invisible information that can reveal who you are, where you've been, and what tools you use. Most people don't know this data exists, and most apps don't make it easy to remove.
Vantre exists to solve this problem with tools that are free, transparent, and require zero trust in us. All processing happens on your device. We have no server. There is nothing to breach.
Our Principles
- On-device only. Your files never leave your phone. We have no server, no cloud, no API. There is no way for us to access your data because no connection exists.
- Open-source engines. Every line of our core metadata processing engines is publicly auditable. We publish our engine code on GitHub so anyone can verify exactly how their files are sanitized.
- Zero noise. No ads. No account. No notifications. No tracking. No analytics. Our apps do one thing, and they do it well.
- Free core features. Privacy tools should not be a luxury. All core metadata cleaning features are completely free with no ads, tracking, or accounts. We offer optional Pro upgrades—including one-time purchases and subscriptions—to unlock advanced power-user features.
Our Products
Vantre currently offers two Android apps:
- Photo Metadata Remover: EXIF & GPS Cleaner - Removes EXIF data, GPS coordinates, timestamps, and camera information from photos.
- PDF Metadata Remover & Cleaner - Erases author names, creation dates, software signatures, and revision history from PDF documents.
Both apps are available on Google Play and are built on open-source engines.
Open Source Engines
Our core engines are publicly auditable on GitHub. We believe privacy mechanisms should be transparent by design:
We welcome code reviews, bug reports, and contributions from the community.
